Would 16-bit soundcard work on Vista?

    I can't think of a reason why it wouldnt. When it comes to sound Ive never had a problem w/ that.

    Can't tell you if your card would work but the creative 24bit does as a Vista patch has been released,as regards my Sound blaster live 5.1 the audio worked fine but the game section would not load.:unsure:

    to be honest mate without trying it i couldnt say if it would or not, iv got a soundblaster 5.1 and it works but i have same problem no game port.......

    before this soundcard i had a crystal sound 4281 pci worked perfect in xp but it wouldnt workk in vista....

    it all depends on wether vista has the support for it to work..

    Vista has support for 16bit, now finding drivers for that card...good luck. :D
