Wireless usb suddenly stopped working

    Hi guys.i'm currently using a desktop with wireless usb d-link dwa-110

    I'm living in a hostel and currently using wireless internet from outside

    After a few hours connected,suddenly my wireless usb stopped working i got no signal at all

    I have to restart my computer to get my wireless usb working back

    This kind of problem has occured so many times

    I'm really annoyed bcoz i have to restart my desktop many times

    Please help me anyone...thank you very much



    I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium

    Not knowing how far away your wireless access point is (you said you're using it "from outside"), have no way of knowing what can be interfering with the signal. Depending on the frequency band being used, LOTS of things can interfere, including cordless phones. Just something electronically opaque passing between you and the access point could be enough to cut the signal.



    You need to check your power settings if you're using a laptop or if you're using sleep or hibernation. It's possible that those setting are disabling the wireless when power is low.
