Hi. So, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3565 with an American MegaTrends 1.10.1 BIOS. It originally had Windows 10, but I wiped it and put Windows 7 on it. I then split off space from the 7 drive and created another one with the intention of installing Windows Vista to it (and to see how far I can take it drivers wise), but with DVD and USB, after loading the files and briefly showing the loading bar, it throws a 0x0A5 Blue Screen of Death saying "This BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant." Is there any way to fix this? This laptop was bought in 2018, and the Vista installation media is 64 bit Ultimate with SP2. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Dell Inspiron 15 3565 Notebook PC (support site)

It's a 3rd generation notebook which appears to have these primary devices:

    AMD R5 M430 graphics

    Realtek ALC3234
    high definition audio

    Realtek
    (unknown model) 10/100 Mbps ethernet
Note: It does not have drivers for Windows Vista.

    Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165/7265
    wireless
Note: It does not have drivers for Windows Vista.

    Qualcomm QCA9377/9565
    wireless
Note: It does not have drivers for Windows Vista.

That notebook and its devices will work with Windows 7 and 10, but not with Windows Vista or older.
