I cannot open and run Media Player 11 in Vista, ifI try to open it in the start menu nothing happens, if I try to load a media file, music or video nothing happens, I have tried going to the media player file and double clicking on the septup icon and it says that I have the latest version of media player installed, (the same thing happens when I download it and try and install), I have looked all over the web for a solution but cannot find anything, also I have tried a system retsore and repair, all to no avail, soif someone has had this problem or has any idea on how to correct it, it would be very much appreciated.

    # It is also my understanding that media player 11 cannot be removed as it is part Vista OS.

    # Also forgot to add that Windows Media is not visible in the programs on/off menu and Iv'e heard that it should be.

Are you running a beta version of vista or is it retail? There has been problems with WMP 11 on beta versions.
