White blank rectangular box in upper left hand corner of desktop

    A blank rectangular white box is appearing on the desktop of in my brand new Dell Optiplex i5 64 bit computer running Windows 7.

    How do 8 rid of this white rectangular box in the upper left corner of the screens.
