What's happened to -delete mail'

    Firstly, as a newcomer to the site, please forgive me if I have not located the correct section for my question.

    Here it is: For some reason beyond my comprehension, mail in the 'deleted items' box refuses to be permanently deleted.

    The message I receive is, "An unknown error has occurred"

    Anyone got any helpful ideas?

    Thank you in anticipation of your giving this matter some consideration.
