Welcome Center Screen....dumb question

    Just got my computer a few days ago, works great...so far. How can I get that welcome center screen to stop popping up? Is it just an HP thing?

    I've got an HP, just a basic one from Best Buy, I think it's the a1730n or something. 2gigs of ramw/Vista Home premium, don't know if that helps or not.Thanks for all your help.

    I'm fairly new to computers so sorry if this is a question that has been answered, I've searched a couple of times and can't find anything on it.

    uncheck the box "Run at startup" (on the underside of the welcome center)
