I'm trying to verify my wireless broadband bill and using "...netstat -e,.." check bytes received.

On reboot bytes received is cleared to zero which is what I would expect. Immediately after reboot I start a netflix and an hour in bytes received is 5.9 GB. I counted the digits to 10!

Weird. But weirder still to come. For after 3 hours - bytes recieved is now down to a more believable: 0.59 GB. At this number I pause the movie.
After two hours pause and 5 hours total I replay the movie but first must refresh the page.
    - bytes received is: 0.69 GB

After FIVE minutes, I "...netstat -e..." again and now get:
    - bytest received is : 25.62 GB

Is this a known bug with a fix or what? Is Windows "...netstat..." reliable?

Note: Movies on a DVD are ~4 GB
Note: Streaming video is reported by Netflix as (1) GB/hour
