Webcam driver for HP PAVILION dv9009us

    Hi Guys,

    My friend is having problem's to make the HP PAVILION dv9009us webcam work in the Windows VistaUltimate. The driver is installed but the MSN menseger and any other video program can't recognize the webcam. The webcam is listed in the installed hardware list.

    Any idea how we can solve this?

    Having the same problem with new dv2278ea and its integrated webcam. Ongoing emails with HP support have failed to reslove the issue but the windows official vista community forum has a thread regarding webcams on a different laptop and someone has re-installed the XP driver for their webcam and it seems to work.

    Does anyone know where the XP driver for the HP Pavilion Webcam can be found?

    p.s. Just discovered a problem with Outlook 2002 that CANNOT be fixed in Vista except with an UPGRADE to 2007 version :angry:
