I have a Sony Vaio SZ120P notebook running Nvidia GeForce Go 7400. When I use the video driver provided by Microsoft, I get serious lag time about every 10 seconds. It's like a couple second pause, if I'm typing, then it repeats whatever character I'm typing during the pause, so I have to go back and re-type all the time. It's really annoying.

When I use the driver provided by Nvidia, it works great, no lag time and very responsive. However, when I run Remote Desktop and it attempts to connect, I get a BSOD with a page fault on nv4_mini.sys.

I've tweaked the visual effects for performance, but still get the lag. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

The lag is probably because that video driver provided by Sony is not made for vista. Its probably an xp driver, im surprised it installed in the first place. Using the other driver by nvidia is probably best for now, wait until they come out w/ a new beta driver and try installing that. Eventually driver support will catchup but in beta is slim.
