I am using Windows Vista home premium. Yesterday i installed the skype and the voice chat worked fine. After that i installed the yahoo messanger and voip software.

Now when i do a voice chat, other party can hear my voice but i cant hear their ton/voice. Mic is working (so i hope no problem with the audio driver)

i dont know whats the problem Also i couldnt understand why it works with Skype not with Yahoo messanger & voip sofware.

Could any one help me please?

Sorry, don't use any of these, do I don't have a solution.

MS completely restructured the audio (e.g., sound) model for Vista such that, in the early days, nothing worked with Vista. Creative, for example, built a software layer into their drivers so that their written-for-XP programs could talk to that layer which, in turn, talked to Vista.

My only guess is that the products that aren't working don't have the right drivers for Vista.
