Have 32 bit Vista. Took hard drive from old computer that crashed. That one was running Vista 64 bit. Put it in a drive enclosure and hooked it to my current computer via USB. The light on the drive enclosure is on. The computer, however, does not recognize the presence of the drive. It has been plugged in for several hours. What must I do to get the drive recognized? (It is a 2.5 inch SATA).

Try it on a different computer.

Put a different drive in the enclosure and see if the computer sees it. If not then the enclosure may be bad.
