    hi guys,
im trying to fix a laptop running vista home basic, it keeps shutting down after start up, saying "Windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart automatically in one minute". I've done a 'clean boot' but the problem still happens. I can boot up in safe mode, but if i boot in safe mode with networking I get the same problem, so i'm guessing there is a problem with the network drivers. Whats the best method for fixing this?

    Thanks

    Hi johnrochie

Do you have restore points that you can use?
You maybe able to do a restore within Safe Mode to fix things.
