NOTES: To get the onboard sound working for the AS8 you must connect to Microsoft Update after installation. For the ML-1740, go to Samsung.com for the latest drivers. I did not test those in Vista 64.

hey there just signed up to tell u that the Belkin f5d7000wireless PCI network adapterworks 100% in 64-bit vista (iuse vista ultimate 64bit)with these drivers:

    http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Windows.html

Select the RT61 PCI/mPCI/CB download, uninstall any previous drivers and take the card out. Then install the downloaded driver, shut down and insert card. AfterI powered back upI went in to the device manager and windows detected the card and installed it with out fault.

    ATI

X1650 Pro works if you download new drivers. Aero not automatically on but can be easily switched on. No problems here except Warhammer Mark of Chaos being annoying but i blame my RAM for that (only 512)

Yes. It's been running for 5 months now with zero hiccups on Vista 32bit. Don't bother using the linksys installation program, just install the drivers. Also, I have found that Linksys will never release 64-bit drivers for this card.

After 3 attemtps to find a working PCI Wireless Network Adapter for my new computer running Vista HP 32-bit, I finally found one that worked, and even out of the box. First I tried the Netgear and Linksys models. Both were the basic 54mps PCI versions. They didn't have compatible Vista drivers. Linksys offered an upgraded driver on their website, but when I downloaded it, Vista said the file was corrupt. After a few hours of seaching for a good version of it, I finally gave up.I research the Dynex DX-BGDTC and i found no real problems on the net about it workng with Vista, so it was my final shot and behold, I am online wirelessly and typing this post. My Dynex card says version 1.00. Now, I originally tried to download the Vista driver on their support page for this model, and I had the same problem. Vista wouldn't run the .exe program. So i tried the driver bundle that came with the card and it worked. Hope this helps anyone out there.
