vista automatically changes folder view + monitor won't start up

    like my topic says, my windows changes the folder view itself.

    for instance, my contorl panel was medium icon, the next time i go in it went to details.
    and some folders containing the same item wont show the same way. like 2 folders containing a rmvb file. one is using detail and one is using medium icon. how come?

    and in these 2 days, when i start my computer my monitor still stays in stand by mode, the LED light flashes like when my computer is turned off. is this b/c of vista?
