Hi...first post here :)

    1. Is there a way to make the power tray icon only show up when theAC adapter isn’t plugged in?
2. My wireless network adapter takes about a minute after Vista is booted up to actually connect to my network (the network tray icon has an X on it for 30-45 seconds, then spends a few seconds connecting.) On my other laptop running XP, the adapter is already connected or immediately connects right after XP boots up. Any idea if/how I can fix this?

Thanks!

    1) dont know

    2) Disable workstation service (link on how to do it). Read the rest of the topic for other things to try.
