Does anyone know how to turn off automatic lock down? I'm trying to run a program but whenever I run it, my computer locks down. When I sign on again, it does the same thing, lock down again. It keeps doing it until I open task manager. Then I have to end all my programs.

    thank you in advanced.

Are you talking about Reduced Functionality Mode -- in which you don't get a start button, and are severely limited in what you can do? If so, this means your machine has become "deactivated" and can only be fixed via a phone call to MS support in India (not kidding!)

By lock down do you mean you are required to re-enter your credentials to return to the desktop? If so this is a screen saver setting.
