the screen going directly to my doc... plz help

Hello all...
I have a problem with my vista business edition, for fw days when i switch on my laptop, the desktop is directly giving the my documents folder, i am abl to go computer,n/w, anywhere.... but if i minimize the screen the screen in blank without any display of the desktop wallpaper, computer, documents etc.........
I tried to troubleshoot with task manager, and the desktop is coming with all icons if i type explorer.exe but this shud be done everytime i log in..... how can i get that back like how we gt usually.........

the options in msconfig and even i tried the regedit utility, but the values are in correct form,

please help me.......................................

 

Sorry, i can't think of any other solution but to reinstall windows. you should try repairing it before reinstaling it, but a complete formating would be the best option, just incase it's a virus or something.
