When I try to install my driver it fails with error message:

"The device property code is invalid"

    What does it mean?

Did you bother to read the post about rules for posting in which you're asked to provide us some details ?

You could at least tell us which driver, for what device, from which manufacturer, etc. All you're telling us is that it doesn't work and you expect us to guess why.

Code 10 errors generally mean corrupt or incompatible device drivers which prevent the device from starting.

Vista is, unfortunately, earning a really bad reputation for driver problems. For while, all the buzz was about video drivers. Now, we see more and more USB-related driver problems -- which are much harder to fix because device manufacturers almost never provide USB drivers.

We have some pinned post about diagnosing driver problems, but if none of them work, you're pretty much at the mercy of the device provider.
