Taskbar turns grey after about 5 mins

Hey

Everytime I switch my computer on, my taskbar turns from the normal black colour to a light grey colour. It seems to me that it is the taskbar for Windows 98.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanxs

 

Do you mean the text on the task bar?

Standard task bar colour is grey, but the text of the programs you have open is black



Unless you are using something other than Windows Classic for your colour scheme?



I know that some "Vista effects" don't work depending on the program you have open. For example, the half see-through program title bars that come out fo the box with Vista, turn solid when I open an older version of Flash, as this program does not support my default colour scheme
