Hello...I hope this is the correct place to post this....

I just bought a Siig Firewire 2-port Expresscard for my DELL laptop.

I slide it in and it lights up, and in Device Mngr, it shows as working properly.

However, my CPU goes to 100% when it's installed. Upon pulling it out, the CPU won't settle back down. I have to reboot to get my CPU back to floating around 6%.

When it is plugged in and my Camcorder hooked up to it, I can control the Camera, but due to the 100% CPU usage, I get a very choppy picture or none at all.

Laptop is running tip-top, 1.5gb ram, VISTA, etc.....

    Any ideas??

    Thanks

Oh yes, sorry, VISTA has the drivers built in. Even on Siig's website, they have no drivers available and it says that xp, Vista, etc all have them built in.
