    Hi.

I have downloaded an installation of WAMP (Apache, MYSQL, and PHP).

Installed it. Then I found another. So I set about deleting the original

version th install the new one. There appear the be remanants of the

old version remaining. I've done a search and found no trace but it still says

APACHE still exists. Can you possibly help.

    cheers

There will be remnants of it left in both the registry and probably the 'user' \Appdata and either the 'local' or 'roaming' profile directories.

Any reg entries will be in HKLM\software\ hive and also the 'services' key under HKLM \system\current control set\services

Also search for any other entries, be sure to select the top hive level (computer) to make sure the search covers the entire registry.

    HI Cyclic,

I've cleaned out the registry with regedit of all traces of apache and mysql.

However I havent found the 'user' local and roaming profiles. Also I've found apache

and mysql in the computer management under services. This I am unable to remove.

Sorry to be pain but any help would be appreciated.:w00t:

    regards
