I have two vista beta 2 5472 machines, machine one can connect via RDC to the other, but if I try to connect machine two to machine one I get this error :- The authentication certificate received from the remote computer has expired or is not valid.

Now both machines have the same settings, on the same network, can share files, and I have tried both firewall on and off on both machines.

    Anyone shed any light ?

maybe because it's a beta. but it's still strange that such errors occur on an almost rc1 build.

maybe it's smart to install windows xp and use xp as your primary OS.

it's a almost complete free OS (dont know msdn is free) enjoy the things that work

    Fixed it,

dont ask me how - I upgraded my RAID drivers and set the drives to UDMA rebooted and it works a charm, I know it should not.

I guess the fact that the pc crashed and I selected last good config, must have solved it - lol
