Reliability Monitor Failure

    This seems to be a bug in Vista Ultimate OEM. I have never gotten data in my Reliability Monitor. I have attempted various fixes but it never even started when I installed Vista.



    I have altered the permission of the files.



    Started and stopped the task.



    I have no files in the ProgramData/Microsoft/RAC under either subfolder.



    I haven't found a single fix that gets me anywhere closer to getting this to work and I've posted all over the place. Nobody even responds. I'm going nuts!!!



    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Try running mmc first then reliability monitor:

    Press win key + r. Type mmc and press enter. File > Add/ Remove Snap In. Select Reliabilty And Performance Monitor and click add. Now in the side menu click on the new Performance And Reliabilty monitor that has been created.
