I bought vista and installed it to dual boot with xp.

Now I have another computer i'd like to install it on.

How can I do this since when I try to... I use the same

serial number as my other computer and says i have to

use the other computer. How am I able to install it onto

this other computer? Do I have to uninstall it somehow?

    Thanks!

Details depend on the version of Vista you installed:

A retail version can be moved (notice I said "moved", not "copied") from one machine to another. You will have to reactivate when you install it on the second machine, but if this is your first move, it should reactivate without problems. You can continue to move it from machine to machine, but I believe that after the second activation, you have to contact MS to get additional activations.

An OEM version is locked to the original machine on which it is installed. It can not legally be moved to another machine. Sorry, but those are the restrictions of the OEM license. You will not be able to activate the license on the second machine, and when you call MS for support, it's likely that they will refuse to provide you a second license key.
