Recovery Disks

    can i burn recovery disks even though i have already

    Do you mean burn files to the recovery disc? In that case, no. If you've made a recovery disk and finalized it (which is what most burning programs do by default), it won't allow you to burn on it anymore, unless it's a CD/DVD-RW or you turned on multisessioning in your burning program. If it's a retail disc, it's already been finalized, so no way to get anything else on those.

    If you mean burning recovery software to a blank CD/DVD, you most certainly can. When Microsoft introduced Vista SP1 in 2008, it included software in it specifically designed to burn a recovery image to as many blank CD/DVDs as you like. If you do have SP1 installed, you can find the program in Start > All Programs > Maintenance > Create a Recovery Disc.
