I converted video files from MOD to AVI to edit in Premiere Pro CS4. The converted files playback fine in Windows Media, Qucktime, etc., but when I import them into Premiere, the video runs too fast and choppy and out of sync with the audio. I've tried converting the files with several different programs downloaded from the Internet (Xilisoft HD Movie Converter, IOrgSoft, etc.) One said to uninstall Qucktime and intstall Qucktime Alternative 1.81. Did that; didn't help. Also tried converting files to different formats: MPEG, MOV: no luck. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
