How did you get that cool looking 4? Is that a 5384 build thing?

    Hi,

Am I the first to put here the ratings of a Vista Beta 2 running on Virtual PC? I guess the graphics features aredropping the avarage rating.

    Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 600 MB, 8.39 Free (16.00GB Total), VM Additions S3 Trio32/64, Gaming Graphics not detected

I do not think that the overall score is an average or a weighted average.

If you look closely you will see that the overall score is the lowest individual component score ROUNDED DOWN to the whole number (e.g. if 3.2 is the lowest individual component score it will give an overall rating of 3).

That Dell Dimension 2350 I'm using...

BTW: this is the new score window from the latest build 5472.

    No hardware mentioned at all.

The machine is a Dell Dimension 2350

    P4 2ghz

    1Gb Ram

Nvidia 5200 FX 128mb PCI (NOT PCIe)

    20Gb hd partioned 20/10.

The secondary partition hold a windows xp ghost image and the ghost program on a fat32 partition so I can switch back to the original Windows XP sp2 when ever I need 2.

This machine is also the only machine in the entire building with a DVD burner! :D

I suppose I should mention that all of your previous numbers are now defunct... (Just to be mean... yeah I know...)

I am running on an Asus motherboard, P4C800E Deluxe, with an NVidia GeForce MX 4000 graphics card and here lies my PF specs... <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j198/oktobermaniak/PR.png" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

Other than the obvious, of a new video card, how much memory, hard drive and Processor {make, speed, etc.} are they asking me to change to? Should I start saving now to get myself a major upgrade in time for X-mas so that I am ready for the final release?

    Rating 4.9

    CPU: Intel Pentium D 3.4Ghz

    Motherboard: Intel D955XBK
    Video: ATI FireGL 7100
    RAM: Corsaire TWIN2X2048-5400C4 2GB DDR2-675 XMS2-5400 Xtreme Performance

HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST380211AS 80GB Serial ATA 7200RPM Hard Drive w/2MB Buffer

I don't think that's a bad system. I wonder if it has something to do with Vista RC1 x64bit OS.
