    Hi;

    New user of Vista here.

    How can I make a shortcut of my connections in Vista Home Basic? And, how can I make a shortcut so that I can view the "View Status" of each connection instead of going to the Network Sharing Center and clicking view status....

    In XP I would just click the icon in the status tray and I'll get to see the statusof the connection outrightly.

    How can I do this..? Help please:)

    Thank you!

    not sure if this is what you looking for but you can give it ago.

    goto network and sharing center the click on manage network connections.

    then right click the network icon and create shortcut, it will probably put it on your desktop.
