I have a home network, two desktop XP computers and a Vista laptop, only took about 20 hours of alot of cussing and finally got the vista to be seen by the other two computers. Ok, enough whinning and on to my prob!

My shared printer is wired to one of the XP puters, Vista can access all shared files and folders on both XP puters, but I cannot get the printer to work/install with the vista, it keeps giving me an "access denied"? Printer is Vista compatiable. I can see it, but cant install it. Am desperate for a new idea, but everywhere I go, I get sent to the same links and the same solutions, that do not work.

Who's brainstorm was all those constant permission boxes in Vista? Who wants to be constantly questioned on every little click on a keyboard in the privacy of their own home.

    XP FOREVER!
