    I have Vista Ultimate 64.

I have downloaded the version of MPT for Vista 64 from avanquest.com which is 4.5.1c

When I run the programme at the phase:

Setup Status: Motorola Phone Tools is configuring your new software installation:

    Shared Files : <WINSYSDIR>\msimg32.dll

The setup stops and I get the error:

    Feature Transfer Error

    Feature: Shared Files

    Component: Shared DLL's

    File: <WINSYSDIR>\msimg32.dll

Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is

    incorrect.

I click on ok and installation terminates.

File msimg32.dll is located in C:\Windows\System32 and is file version

6.0.6000.16386 Modification Date: 02/11/2006 12:18 Additional file (same

    version) is located in C:\Windows\SysWOW64

My System Information is as follows:

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 0702, 17/01/2006 SMBIOS Version 2.3

Windows Directory C:\Windows System Directory C:\Windows\system32 Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume1

Locale United Kingdom Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.0.6000.16386"

    Time Zone GMT Daylight Time

    Total Physical Memory 2,910.75 MB

    Available Physical Memory 1.68 GB

    Total Virtual Memory 11.03 GB

    Available Virtual Memory 9.77 GB

    Page File Space 8.30 GB

    Page File C:\pagefile.sys

I have tried installing it on the same drive, on different drives, re-downloaded the file (to ensure it is not corrupt)

Have tried installing another copy of msimg32.dll downloded from .dll site and Vista will not boot with this file only the original.

Avanquest have been very sympathetic but have no suggestions as to why it will not load.

    Any suggestions appreciated
