This is a great cpu if you are building a vista ready pc. Its very capable of producing more then enough power. Stock its 2.66GHz, but it can be overclocked easily w/ the stock cooling fan/heatsink to 3.8ghz-4.1ghz and be 100% stable. It is a dual core processor w/ 533mhz fsb which is why it allows for so much overlocking. Best part is you can get it for $100!

That seems a rather nice deal and i'm not sure if i could believe it or not haha. the FSB leaves a little to be desired but the fact that it can be overclocked up to 3.7GHz using just fan cooling is impressive.

    Don't go Intel. Ever.

I'm no fanboy, but if you want to get the most out of a CPU, go AMD, and invest in a good HSF and thermal paste.
