My Taskbar is locked, I have gone into "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" and unchecked the box then clicked "Apply" and "OK" repeatedly; this has no effect. The Microsoft support desk said it was probably something to do with a corrupted file system and wanted to charge me an excessive fee to repair their faulty product. I've ran check disk and there's no mention of corrupted files. Please help.
