Laptop connected to TV monitor - neither working

    I'm using Windows Vista. I tried to get my laptop to display using VGA to my TV. It's not working.

    I was messing around within Display Settings and now the monitor on my laptop won't display when the VGA plug is connected. How do I fix either/both? Thanks.
