ie9 beta

    Attempting to install ie9 beta, it gets about 1/4 through dowloading required updates and hangs.

    Running win vista 32 bit sp2

    Hp Dv6308nr laptop with 1GB ram 120Gb Hd

    Tried alternative installer same thing happens

    Since you're so eager to install a "beta" product, you do realize the following (I hope):
    1) It completely replaces IE8, so if the install fails in any way, you're left without a working Internet Explorer
    2) Because it's a "beta", it has bugs. So, some of the stuff that worked just fine in IE8 will fail in IE9
    3) It might not be possible to upgrade directly to the released version when it comes out.

    If you didn't know these, you should have done a little web surfing and reading the reviews of IE9 Beta before you installed it.
