IE won't recognize wireless, after reinstallation

    after I reinstalled vista sp1,via disk, I was able to set up my wireless network. Got online and did all required windows updates. then tried to launch IE. it won't recognize the connection. Therefore I can get online in order to proceed.

    Did you try downloading Chromium's source, putting it on the disc and running chrome.exe from there?
    (I have a similar issue, in that IE works after a reinstall BUT security updates and such aren't being delivered for it)
