I have some problems with microphone

    I am using C-Media AC97 audio driver , i sang karaoke with my computer but the sounds i said into microphone wasn't go through my Speakers .
    I can recording my sounds so i think my microphone is working .
    I tried with windows XP and successful but i can't do it with windows Vista .
    Please help me , i am using Microsoft Windows Vista SP 2 Home Basic .

    The fact it worked in XP is no help with Vista because MS changed the audio model almost completely such that entirely new drivers are required.

    If the same hardware worked in XP but doesn't work in Vista, it's either a driver problem or a settings problem. IF you've checked your settings and they are OK, the only thing you can do at this point is look for newer drivers -- using Windows Update or Microsoft Update Catalog.
