I can receive but not send emails

    I get this error message when i try to send emails

    The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Email from Work', Account: 'mail.tesco.net', Server: 'mail.tesco.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    Open a command window and enter "ping mail.tesco.net".

    If it times out, you can't access that server and need to contact them for solutions.

    If it doesn't time out, you CAN access them and one or more of your settings is wrong. You will still need to contact them to ensure that all your mail settings for their server are correct.

    If I may suggest....
    Ask your ISP, tesco.net, what is your smtp port #. Maybe it does not accept 25.
    Could be 587 instead. But ask them.
