HP 6310 all in one used to work until today...

    I don't understand...all of a sudden, my all in one unit, being run on vista for over a year now, just won't scan from the scan button on the machine, nor from the software program. It appears that the scan to destination drop down menu has disappeared, and the computer can't figure out where to send the scanned images. This only happened yesterday, but up until now it had been working fine. I didn't do anything new, and everything else on the machine still works...fax, printing, and copying...any ideas? Thanks, bluegypsy
