How update Windows Vista SP1 in Internet? Not with the OS

    How can i download the updates in Internet? Not in my OS, download them in Internet and then install them like a program (it's easy understand it, right?).



    I can't find them, and i can't download them with the OS (is not a possibility).

    You can get the service pack from Windows Update directly, using the following link:

    Note that this is over 400MB -- so it will take quite a while. Also, the update itself has been known to take hours to complete. So, you will need LOTS of patience.



    However ... that is just the one update. SP1 is likely to require other updates as well, and there's no way of knowing which ones. So, after updating with SP1, you may have to download others.
