I installed 5308 from xp. Is there a way to go back to xp? The help said to boot to SafeMode and goto Control Panel / Add Remove Programs and then select Uninstall Vista. I logged in as administrator but I don't see any programs at all. I've tried booting to the {legacy} os, but nothing happens. What do I do? Thanks.

If you installed over XP, then no, there's no way to roll back.

You need to put your windows xp cd back in your computer boot up vista and run the cd install of windows xp again. That is the only way. The add/remove programs will not uninstall vista since when you installed vista you overwrote your xp.

Wow... That sucks. Dude, you should have given yourself an out. I bought a whole new drive for my Vista installation. I am so glad I did too - I couldn't install Dreamweaver on Vista. Too bad, too - I was getting used to the new interface.
