How to preview pictures

    i wanted to know if it was possible in vista to preview pictures like you preview them in xp instead of them being sent to gallery if i can just view them in the folder itself hope i explained myself

    thanx when i tried this i noticed i only have the navigation how do i find the rest of the options

    you mean there isn't a "preview pane" option? (screenshot?)

    i found the preview pane but it still doesnt show me the pics it shows a mountain scenery heres the screenshot they are jpeg's [​IMG]

    You have to have the file extension associated with a program that can show pictures to get thumbnails, or go into any explorer window and click Tools at the top left side, select 'folder options' and then click the 'view' tab, in here the first option says 'always show icons never thunbnails' take the tick out of the box, click apply to all folders then ok it and reopen an explorer window with pics in, you should now be getting what I think you want. Change the size using the 'view' menu at the top.
