Ever since Microsoft stopped supporting Win Vista, my MSE, Win update, system restore will not work anymore. I can re install MSE but it will not work. Now my Fix it Center will not work because it is not supported anymore by microsoft. I like my computer operating system, but I keep losing programs and security. My only option is to upgrade, only problem is my computer will not even upgrade to win 7.let alone Win 10. I have recently purchased a program PDF element that will not completely install, get to 98 % then stalls. What can I do, have removed and re installed twice with no change.

Try Windows defender as a substitute for MSE, Windows defender is still supported by Microsoft on vista unlike MSE.

See if you can get a refund or help from the PDF company.

Best bet really is to just use your vista computer as an offline option and buy a new computer for everything else.
