I like Vista's hybrid sleep mode, saves power but makes it quick to power up for use. The problem is that I often leave a newsreader open to download from newsgroups as I leave or go to bed or whatever. With the computer set to sleep it will just go into sleep mode and ignore the fact that the program was downloading.

Is there any way to keep Vista from sleeping when there is network activity? I wouldn't want the .001k of network activity that randomly travels through the line every so often to wake it or prevent sleep, but if there's obvious heavy downloading I'd like it to not sleep and cause that to stop.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
