I am trying to Map a network drive that works just fine in XP Pro box on my home network. Now regarding my new VIsta Home Premium machine, it will not reconnect after I restart it. It will map properly the first time I map it. BUT the first time I restart the machine I get a msg that they was an error connecting to a network drive, if I double click on it and enter the user name and password though I am back in again. It is LaCie Edmini 500 gig drive that works perfect since the first time I mapped in XP Pro. Now with Vista it will not reconnect everytime I restart, I map and leave the Z drive letter, put in the path:

    \\edmini\share\

    connect as a different user:

    user: edmini\admin

    pw: admin

click the box to recconect at login

I even upgraded to the lastest firmware on Lacie website, 1.1.1 and have the regedit hack set to "1". What else do I need to do to make it connect everytime?

Here is the exact drive I have:

    http://www.lacie.com/us/products/product.htm?pid=10844

    PLEASE HELP
