I actually have two applications that I would like to install on Vista x64. Corel Draw 8 and AutoCAD Rel14.

On Corel I have been reasonable successful. The distribution disk has a 32 bit installer but the upgrade file has a 16 bit installer Install Shield. This won't run on vista x64. Is there a way to either replace the installer or to decompress the DR8RevB.exe file to get at the files and possible do a manual install.

On AutoCAD it is a x32 bit application but my installer is also a 16 bit application.

    All help would be appreciated.

I tried to search the forum but the admin has now granted permission yet.

If here is a thread on the please point to it.

    Thanks Jim

Search is disabled the forum, that's the Admin's policy.

Regarding the 16-bit installer problem, there is apparently no workaround for this.
