My computer keep get'startup repair' when i try to go to the login screen when i on my computer. :[

4/10 chance it will appear when i turn on my computer.

It will ask you to restore your computer to the previous state. And after i restore about two times, it can start normally again.

Apart from the possibility of malware causing this, a more likely possibility is that your file system is getting corrupted such that the Vista loader files are getting clobbered, causing Vista to force a repair.

Run a chkdsk on your drive's partitions to at least rule that out.

Did you run chkdsk -- like I suggested? Installing updates is not going to fix your problem. You need to run chkdsk to see if file system corruption is part of the problem.

By this, I'm guessing you mean that you ran CHKDSK and it found no problems. Right?

The other most likely culprit is one you've already stumbled across -- some malware that is either corrupting your boot loader store, causing Vista to recreate it, or (my guess) popping up a Windows that looks like the Startup Repair screen but is really a phishing scam to cause you to click on it. Either way, you have to completely remove the malware to get rid of this problem.

You're only recourse is to run antivirus products to clean up your system. If the problem keeps happening, a clean reinstallation is likely to be the only thing that will fix it.
