Have ownership of folder but need ownership of all subfolders

    Hi,

    I wanted to give Music and all it's sub folders read but not modify permission. I have messed it up. Now I am the owner of Music but the sub folders are read protected as I don't own them any more:(

    I can get them back to my ownership one by one but want to get them back all in one go. There are about a thousand sub folders.

    Vista Home Basic.

    Any thoughts. TIA
