Hi, I've run into a very serious problem that basically keeps me from doing anything on the computer (I've switched to another computer in the house).

Earlier today I tried to update my Video Card Drivers (I have a Radeon X1300 Pro). After I restarted my computer, my mouse and keyboard were connected, but were utterly unresponsive, so I literally can't do anything, but turn the computer on and off. However, the computer itself is not frozen and continues to run while the mouse and keyboard is dead.

Does anyone know what the possible problem is?

When you mention having a Radeon, I presume you installed the Catalyst drivers from ATI/AMD -- right? Did you install 7.3 or 7.4? V 7.3 had some bugs, so you should install v7.4.

Also, do you have a wireless keyboard and mouse, or are they wired? What brand are they?
