Front and rear speaker problems.

    Are you driving the speakers from jacks connected to your motherboard? Or are you driving them from jacks connected to an audio card?

    Either way, I would swap speakers and experiment with the sound settings to switch channels and speakers around to determine which channels work and which speakers work.

    For example, if your setting is now 5.1 or 7.1, change it to stereo (2 speaker) and hook up different pairs of speakers.

    This is a tedious trial-and-error experiment, but don't know of any other way to isolate the problem.
